Dried Pollock and Perilla Seed Seaweed Soup
Ingredients:
1 handful of dried seaweed (soaked and cut into bite-sized pieces)
1 cup dried pollock (chopped)
2 tablespoons sesame oil or perilla oil
2–3 cups water
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup ground perilla seeds
Instructions:
Soak dried seaweed in water until soft. Squeeze out the water and cut into bite-sized pieces.
Chop dried pollock into small pieces.
Heat 2 tablespoons of sesame or perilla oil in a pot. Sauté the pollock over low heat.
Add 2–3 cups of water and bring to a boil.
Add the prepared seaweed to the pot and simmer.
Season with 3 tablespoons of soy sauce and 1 teaspoon of salt. Adjust to taste.
Add 1 cup of ground perilla seeds and let it boil once more.
Serve and enjoy this healthy soup!

I am not a soup person, but this looks very good ! I love immitation crab, and that is Pollock, so I wonder if I put that in the dehydrator if that would work as the dried pollock?
