  3. if you dont want to use a plastic straw, you can use wooden chopstick wrapped in foil or just an oiled wooden chopstick cut to size. you can also use a reusable silicone straw if you have one to spare and willing to cut it.

  8. Isn't it "Baumkuchen"? (you wrote Berm kuchen ) it's German. Baum means tree. It's called Baumkuchen because it looks like tree rings of a tree, when you cut the cake open.
