   For those that don't understand Japanese, I'm 80% sure they are showing how realistic the fake foods are. This is coming from someone that understands 0% of the Japanese language, so don't quote me.

   Edit: a more intelligent person has informed me that they are cakes, please ignore my stupidity

    These are CAKES people. real cakes made to look like other foods and items.

    "But they look so fake, like plastic and stuff?"
    that is because of the: icing, frosting, fondant, chocolate, candy, sugar work, etc. that is/are being used to create the outer appearance.
