Leek rice with Nori

A fine comfort-food dish, inspired in soft leeks and carrots with a touch of Nori Seaweed. Easy to prepare, a magical joy.

ingredients
– Olive oil to sauté
– 1 teaspoon butter to sauté
– 1 leek
– 1 carrot
– 1 full teaspoon tomato paste
– Salt
– 1 cup round grain rice
– 3 cups of water
– 2 gr. Nori flakes
– Extra Nori flakes to garnish

Preparation
1.- Sauté in a small deep pot with olive oil and butter the leek and carrot for about 4 minutes.
2.- Add the tomato paste, salt and stir for another 3 min.
3.- Add the rice (lightly rinsed and drained) and stir about 2 min. more.
4.- Add water. After boiling Cook it covered about 20 min. in low heat.
5.- Add Nori flakes and mix well
6.- Serve warm and garnish with extra Nori flakes.

Preparation Time: 5min.
Cooking Time: 20min.
Serving: 3-4 Person

Tips:
– Can be prepared with any other seaweed of your preference (just
follow seaweed packaging instruction).
