  2. So Neat!! I was watching "Hercules Candy" and they showed this video!! So excited that they chose you!! It was called "US Candy Makers React To Japanese Sakura Candy (JunsKitchen)" I hope you get to see it! They wanted to know what Sukura tasted like..Its Japanese for the type of cherry tree ?

  3. Would it be possible for you to interview that sweet grandmother that saved those Sakura trees? I feel like she has some stories to tell. She had such love in her eyes when she was talking about the trees. It breaks my heart that she would be the last one to take care of them 😭

  4. I just thought of the sweetest story inspired by the granny who took care of the Sakura trees 😊♥️

  5. Their sakura candies in the most recent Sakuraco box were fantastic! I am glad I got to try them and also see how they were made, thanks for a great video!

  6. This was so amazing to watch. Though the lady at the beginning saying that this year was her last sakura viewing made me sad.

Finding out the history of traditional makers – of any craft – is amazing to hear. Shame that it is a skill that is being lost as more people turn to technology.

The Japanese bush warblers sound exactly the same as the ones we have here in Australia.

  7. Wah, even just the intro of this video made me emotional! Bless the old lady for taking care of these beautiful trees for so long, and sharing her joy of them with you. I hope she’s wrong and has many years left of enjoying them 🥹🥹

  8. Norm just went in and shot inside of a dormitory train station. I don’t know if you’ve watched the video but they buy their food from local farms. A nutritionist writes the menus for the children. And then they have the kitchen right there on the property preparing the farm fresh food. If he doesn’t do a video going out to all of the farms and then in the kitchen, you should definitely make that video Jun. Especially since Panasonic gave you that new beautiful camera.

  9. Jun, please continue to do what you love with your Japanese community! You show just how colorful and bright the locals are. This video brings so much joy to my day!

  10. It was really interesting seen the candy making process! Its impressive the amount they manage to produce in what seems not such a big factory and it looks delicious. I can't wait the day when I can buy the suscription and taste them all.

I'm really grateful for being able to watch the traditional japanese way, and the people there are so kind. Thanks Jun and the people at Sawahara Factory 🙂
