    Main Ingredients

    1 head broccoli (about 400g)

    4 cloves garlic, minced

    1 tbsp cooking oil (adjust to preference)

    Seasonings (Chef's Recommended Amounts)

    Light soy sauce: 1 tbsp

    Oyster sauce: ½ tbsp

    Salt: ¼ tsp

    Chicken powder: ¼ tsp

    Sugar: ½ tsp

    Cornstarch slurry: 1 tsp (1:1 starch:water)

    Cooking Steps

    1. Prepare broccoli

    Cut into florets

    Blanch in boiling water with 1 tsp salt and oil

    Cook exactly 1 minute

    Drain immediately

    2. Make garlic sauce

    Heat oil in wok

    Sauté minced garlic until golden (30 seconds)

    Add all seasonings except cornstarch

    Stir to combine

    3. Thicken sauce

    Add cornstarch slurry

    Cook until slightly thickened (about 20 seconds)

    4. Combine

    Add blanched broccoli

    Toss gently to coat with sauce

    Serve immediately
